How to cancel Housecall Pro

  1. Read your plan and billing date. Check your billing settings for the plan, the billing cycle and the date of the next charge. If you cannot find the cancel terms, ask support in writing.
  2. Export before you give notice. Download your customers, jobs, invoices and price book while your login works.
  3. Have the replacement live first. Scheduling, dispatch and invoicing should run on the new system before you stop paying for the old one.
  4. Cancel in writing and keep the reply. Say which account, which plan and the date you want it to end. Ask for written confirmation.
  5. Watch the next card statement. Some owners report charges after cancelling. If one appears, send the confirmation to support and to your card issuer.

What CNL rebuilds from Housecall Pro

Not rebuilt: email, accounting ledgers and payroll. We only start when the audit shows the rebuild paying for itself within 12 months of going live. If Housecall Pro is your only bill and you have fewer than about 27 users, the audit will tell you to keep renting.

Questions owners ask

How much does Housecall Pro cost per month?

Billed yearly: Basic $59 for 1 user, Essentials $149 for 5 users, and Max $299 for 8 users plus $35 a month for each extra user. Billed monthly the same plans are $79, $189 and $329.

How do I cancel my Housecall Pro subscription?

Check your billing settings first. If you cannot find the cancel terms, ask support in writing. Export your data, ask for written confirmation of the end date, then check your next card statement.

Why was I charged by Housecall Pro after I cancelled?

Some owners report charges after cancelling, with reports dated May 28, June 4 and August 9, 2026. Keep your written confirmation. If a charge appears, send it to support and to your card issuer.

Is Housecall Pro worth it for a small plumbing or HVAC company?

For a small crew, usually yes on price. Basic is $59 a month and Essentials is $149 a month. Owning costs $440 a month and only pays back within a year once Max passes $940 a month, at about 27 users, so below that keep renting.
